Why?

My name is Laura, I’m 20 years old, almost 21, and I’m from Spain. I have worked as a volunteer at the local bank of food, and some of my classmates go there because they need its help. This organization provides a suitable amount of food for each family in need to eat the whole month in case they don't have enough money to buy it themselves. The other ones are jobless or they earn less than 900€ to feed their, at least, 3-member-families. We are all less than 35 year old. And I’m writing this to let the world know what’s going on in my country.
We are not the poorest country in the firstworld, not even the poorest one in Europe, but the foolest. We let our politicians lie to us, we let our neighbors take advantages of years of wasting money, given by our last Government to nonsense causes. We see it in our daily life, and we allow it.
Recently, January 31, 2013, a well-known Spanish newspaper revealed the personal notebook of one of the people in charge of the finances of the party in the Government (PP, Popular Party, in Spanish "Partido Popular"), Luis Bárcenas. In those papers are written illegal payments to some of the most important faces of his party, including the current president of the country, Mariano Rajoy.
Those payments are reflected as “Mariano’s suits”, “Ties and shirt M.R.”, “M.R.”, or just “Mariano Rajoy”. About 22600€ each year, during 11 years. There are also payments to ministers on the Government right now, ex-ministers and relatives of people of the party (In Spanish here and  here). International newspapers as The Wall Street Journal, The Angeles Times or The Guardian  spoke about it. We are ruled by corrupts, and the World knows it.
And when our President, after four days of silence, decided to appear in front of the media and talk, he did it through a screen. He decided to spend our resources to speak to a camera by himself in a room, connect it to a screen in another room where journalist were, and started lying to us again. And they all were in the same building. No questions, no answers, no resignations.

The room with the media and the screen

In this list were also payments to external “advisers”, mayors, some architects, people related to the national bank and more. Most of these have been confirmed by the people who received them, but the party "has not checked" if they were made legally.
I am so angry, I am so pissed off, I am so uncomfortable with this situation that I write that here for everyone who wants to read it, and spread the word. Maybe if the World is concerned about what is going on here, we Spaniards will get concerned about what is happening in our home. But, if we don’t, who’s going to care?
As the official web of the party itself said, Mariano, you are a fake.

(Actual cover in the official web of the party. The last one said: "Mariano Rajoy: It´s fake (In Spanish: "Mariano Rajoy: es falso)
